Laochra Óg U14s had their first league game of the season away to Ballygarvan, After a bitter shower of hailstone before the game , we started away, playing with a strong wind. Lads were a little rusty at the start, first time playing on grass this year but soon grew into the game and played really well to lead 4-4 to 0-1 at halftime. In the 2nd half Ballygarvan were fired up and tried to get back into the game playing with the wind to clock up a goal and a couple points. Our lads responded Well and finished strongly with another couple goals and points to win 6-9 to 1-3 at full-time.
