Katrina Hickey, RIP
It was with great shock and sadness that we learnt of the passing of our dear friend and mentor Katrina. Laochra Óg would like to offer their deepest sympathy to James, Breanna, Thade and the extended Hickey and Twomey Families. Our hearts go out to you in your time of sorrow.
We have lost a club member and a committee member, but above all we have lost a dear friend. Katrina you were one of a kind. A beautiful soul. Your smile was infectious. Your friendship was effortless. Always there to support and advise. A helping hand for everyone. Your personality shone bright. Loyal, honest, caring and kind. You touched so many of us and we are the better for knowing you.

Laochra Óg Hurling & Camogie Club was formed to promote Hurling & Camogie in the areas of Clondrohid, Ballyvourney, Kilnamartyra, Macroom and the neighbouring regions.
Its primary aim is to encourage the involvement and participation of children, young adults and members in the activities of the club and in so doing contribute to their own physical, social and personal development.
