Welcome to
Laochra Óg Hurling &
Camogie Club

Going from strength to strength since 2014

Laochra Óg Hurling & Camogie Club was formed to promote Hurling & Camogie in the areas of Clondrohid, Ballyvourney, Kilnamartyra, Macroom and the neighbouring regions.

Its primary aim is to encourage the involvement and participation of children, young adults and members in the activities of the club and in so doing contribute to their own physical, social and personal development.

The overriding objective of the club is to foster a strong community spirit in these areas and to provide a firm foundation for the future growth of hurling in the region.

Thank You to SSE Airtricity for Supporting Our Club

We are delighted to celebrate the opening of our new walkway, a fantastic addition to our grounds that has been made possible through the generous support of SSE Airtricity.

Constructed using sustainable materials, the new pathway provides much-needed safe and convenient access to the goal end of the pitch for players, coaches, supporters and visitors. This improvement will enhance accessibility for everyone using our facilities and is another positive step in developing our club for the future.

Projects like this are only possible thanks to the support of organisations that believe in investing in local communities. We are sincerely grateful to SSE Airtricity for helping us bring this project to life and for their commitment to supporting community initiatives across Ireland.
