Under 14’s hurlers played Kilta Óg in Castlemartyr on Monday 8th. Laochra Óg started off well in the first half but as the game went on Kilta Óg caught up and produced enough scores to put them ahead. A lively game but Laochra Óg failed to overcome the stronger side. Kilta Óg were the winners and the final score was Kilta Óg 2 – 19 to Laochra Óg 2 – 10.

Junior “B” Muskerry hurling league took place in Cloughduv on Tuesday 9th. Laochra Óg v
Cloughduv. Cloughduv got a better opening start and at the thirty minute interval the score was Cloughduv 1 – 9 to Laochra Óg 0 – 4. At the start of the second half Laochra Óg got two goals which brought them back into the game.
Both teams were level as the game went on but
by the end of the game Laochra Óg were down by two points.

Junior “B” County Hurling Championship Whitescross v Laochra Óg took place in Blarney due to a last minute change from Ballyanley on Saturday 13th Whitescross got three goals in the early stages of the game and Laochra Óg had an uphill battle which they could not overcome as the game went on. The final score was Whitescross 4 – 12 to Laochra Óg 0 – 8.
