Re: Friends of Jamie Wall Monster GAA Quiz
A Chara
Jamie Wall is a former Cork Minor and U21 player from Kilbrittan who suffered an infection
in his spinal column and is now confined to wheelchair for the foreseeable future. Jamie and his
family are faced with the task and cost of adapting their home to accommodate his new wheelchair
needs.
Jamie’s mother is a native of Cullen and his grandparents are originally from Rathmore and
Gneeveguilla and therefore members of Cullen GAA (Cork), Gneeveguilla GAA (Kerry) and Rathmore
GAA (Kerry) have come together with the Friends of Jamie Wall committee to organise a monster
club GAA charity quiz on Easter Monday 6th April at 4:00pm in Cullen Parish Hall. We are hoping that
this fundraising drive will offset some of the costs that they will incur in adapting their home.
We are hoping to attract over 100 clubs from across Munster for this worthy cause and are
asking for your clubs support. Each club can enter a table of 4 for €100. We will have a very special
quiz master calling the questions.
We have a fantastic line up of prizes which include 4 All‐Ireland Hurling Final tickets, 4 All‐
Ireland Football Final tickets, 4 Munster Football Final tickets, 4 Munster Hurling Final tickets,
underage hurling and football training sessions for your club with a inter county star and lots more.
If you have any questions or your club wishes to take part then feel free to contact Roger
Casey 087‐6202882, Brendan Cremin 087‐8135690 or Eoin Casey 087‐6865042. All cheques should
be made out to “Friend of Jamie Wall Quiz” and forwarded to Eoin Casey, Clounts, Rathmore, Co.
Kerry before Friday 27th March. A receipt will be issued for all monies received.
