Laochra Óg U10 Boys played Millstreet in a challenge game on Saturday, 7th May in Millstreet. Laochra Óg were slow out of the blocks. To be expected for the first competitive outing of the year. The first half went to Millstreet.
In the second half Laochra Óg started to dominate and play to their potential. As the weather got worse the Laochra Óg boys got better. Great grit and determination shown at times. Best of all they never gave up. They should be really proud of themselves for that. On this occasion the game went to Millstreet.
There will be a number of games and blitz’s over the coming weeks. So, there will be plenty of opportunity to hone our match skills. Texts to follow.

Sunday 8th May Junior “B” County Hurling League Blarney v Laochra Óg took place in Blarney. Players played well but were unable to overcome a stronger Blarney side. Final score was Blarney 2 – 11 to Laochra Óg 1 – 8. Thanks to Blarney Gaa Club for hosting the game. Thanks to everyone for making the trip and to team sponsors Deasy’s Pharmacy.
