Wednesday, 19 August:

U11’s hurling league against Ballinora took place in Macroom Town Park. A highly entertaining game with end to end hurling and a never say die attitude from the players. If there were points for effort and determination Laochra Óg would certainly have finished on top. Having led at half time by two points and playing well in all quarters, Brian Healy leading the way with a tally of 4– 2 Ballinora upped their game in the second half and their pressure paid off as our lads tired in the final minutes.

Final score Ballinora 7 – 3 and Laochra Óg 5 – 4. Thanks to our supporters and team sponsors Astra Systems.
